Roger V. Hardy, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Roger Hardy is a proven developer of successful businesses and strategies.

Roger Hardy's association with Coastal Contacts came in early 2000, as Founder and CEO he focused his time and energy setting the initial vision and direction for the company as it carved out its leadership position in the vision care market.

As Founder Hardy led operations, corporate strategy and marketing. Now as CEO Hardy has narrowed his focus to corporate strategy, business development and M&A activity.

Roger was awarded Business in Vancouver's "Top Forty under Forty" award in 2002 and was

awarded the Pacific Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Business to Consumer) in 2006.

Roger has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization ( YPO ) since 2004 and sat on the membership committee for the YPO Vancouver Chapter in 2008.

Roger established the Hardy Endowment fund at Bishops University which will pay the tuition for a student "in need" each year in perpetuity.

Roger is proud of the more than $100,000 in charitable donations that he and his team at Coastal Contacts have made in the past year to charities including the Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay, the Ride to Conquer Cancer, the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and the Canary Derby in Support of the BC Cancer Institute.

Stuart Belkin, Director

Mr. Belkin serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Belkorp Industries Inc., a leading Canadian corporation. He also currently serves as Chairman of Lantic Inc., Canada's largest sugar refiner, trustee of Rogers Sugar Income Fund and as a Director of the Vancouver Police Foundation. Previously, Mr. Belkin served as Chairman of the Canadian Hotel Income Fund, Chair of Mohawk Oil Canada Ltd. and has served on the boards of Belkin Inc., Timberwest Forest Corporation, B.C. Sugar, Tembec Inc. and the C.D. Howe Institute.

Murray McBride, Director

Mr. McBride brings an extensive background in both the private and public sectors. In his previous positions he has been the Chairman of the Intellivest Group of Companies, President of the Alexander Proudfoot Company of Canada, Member of Parliament of Canada, Chairman of the Canadian Egg Marketing Agency, Vice Chairman and General Manager of the Farm Credit Corporation of Canada, Chief of Staff of the Canadian Ministry of Consumer and Corporate Affairs and Chief of Staff of the Postmaster General of Canada.

Tushar Shah, Director

Mr. Shah is a Managing Partner of Kinderhook Partners. Prior to Kinderhook Partners, Mr. Shah was a Principal at Geocapital Partners, a venture capital firm and a strategy consultant with the Monitor Group, where he led a range of projects in New York, London and Tel Aviv. Mr. Shah is a CFA charterholder and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Williams College.

Michaela Tokarski, MBA, Director

Ms. Tokarski co-founded Coastal Contacts and was a key member of the management team throughout the first five years of its development. Prior to Coastal Contacts, Michaela distinguished herself in her work in the process engineering departments of Syncrude Oil, Kraft Foods, and Domtar Papers. Michaela holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship. Michaela is the President of her Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization. (YEO)

Jeffrey Mason, Director

Mr. Mason is Chief Financial Officer and Director of Hunter Dickinson Inc. (HDI), a Canadian Corporation, which since 1985 has grown to become among the largest and most successful mine development groups in North America. He is a chartered accountant with audit, control, financial reporting, M&A and financial management experience and sits on the board of several public companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Mason has also assisted each of the public companies on whose boards he sits with their ongoing disclosure requirements and with implementing suitable internal control procedures. He has been instrumental in over 20 property or project acquisitions and over $350 million in exploration financings. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (finance and accounting) from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in British Columbia.
