Roger Hardy. In Canada, Coastal Contacts Inc. operates under the brand
name Clearly Contacts. Since inception, the company has grown to over 650 employees
worldwide.

- Coastal commenced operations in October 2000 after Founder and CEO
Roger Hardy, discovered the large mark-ups that optical stores and eye doctors were
charging for contact lenses and eyeglasses. He decided there had to be a
better way for consumers.

increased our global footprint to include offices in North America, Europe and Australia

ripped off! We saw the mark-ups that opticians and optical stores charge
